Established in 1954 by Donatello Santelli, our company began its activity producing straw hats cloches and braids. Production was assigned to so-called "braiders" who, with precise manual work, created braids that were subsequently sewn to create the final product: a hat.
Over time, processing techniques have progressively evolved and this has led to the disappearance of the braiders but also to a broader, more varied production. Today in fact, the company is specialised both in summer and winter clothing accessories; our collection includes the classic, undying Florence straw hats along with cotton caps and scarves as well as felt hats and knitted caps, scarves and gloves. The care with which we select the materials and trimmings used and our manufacturing ensure clothing accesories that are always new and in-line with the times.
Today, the continuity of the company is entrusted to Giovanni, Francesca and Chiara Santelli.
